- Yale Cabaret- Great place to see fresh theater in New Haven (and they serve dinner and you drink a bottle of wine during the performance). Plus no peformance is ever more than an hour because they do a two shows a night. So basically, if it's good it's under and hour and if it's bad, it's under an hour - just the way I like it.
- Tea- I'm a tea fiend. I start with a pot of tea everyday. My favorite place to buy tea from is is the little place on off the main University Avenue drive in Palo Alto, California called Tea-Time. I took classes here and spent evenings learning about the sublteties of tea. Tea-time serves real lemon curd with their scones, and have the best Margaret's Hope Darjeeling. My second favorite tea place is Tealuxe, in Cambridge and Boston, Massahusetts. If I ever opened a tea shop it'd approach the style they bring to venture (except I'd also serve bubbly as a pallette cleanser). Try the Creme de La Earl Grey, Blue Flower Earl Gray, Rose tea, and Buckingham Palace varieties if you get a chance. Lastly, I don't do it often, but going for high tea once a year, is a nice thing. The Ritz Carlton used to do this when I lived in Boston, but I'm sure you can find a place to do this where wherever you are where you can get that pallette cleanser. ;-)
- Barack Obama - he inspires me and reminds about what's great in America.
